Cala Santanyi is tucked away in the south-east corner of Mallorca. Quiet and unspoiled, it is a pretty resort, but offers little in the way of activities, other than sunbathing by day and dining at night. The beach is long and narrow, but has excellent access for those in wheelchairs and for people pushing prams. There are a couple of good restaurants on the beach. Accommodation is limited in Cala Santanyi, and there are not a lot of bars and restaurants in the resort, but it is an excellent base for visiting other oparts of the south-east of Mallorca. The beautiful fishing village of Cala Figuera is adjacent to Cala Santanyi, and the very popular Es Trenc beach (partly a naturalist beach) is only just 20 kilometres away. |
